Named after Arete, daughter of Dionysius, this suite occupies the penthouse floor.
Her father chose the name with care. In ancient Greek philosophy, arete meant excellence of spirit, moral and physical strength: the fulfilment of one’s innate nature. Through her name, and those of his two other daughters, the tyrant cast himself as the source of temperance, virtue and justice – for Sophrosyne, Arete and Dikaiosyne mean just that.
Generous windows open onto a spacious furnished terrace overlooking the sea, and the whole suite is filled with light. Inside, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchenette, a dining area, a sofa bed, a bathroom and a large double bedroom.
